Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Neonatal ICU position in Colorado requiring at least one year of NICU experience and an active CO or compact RN license.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) environment
- Primary patient population includes critically ill neonates
- Night shift, 12-hour shifts, three days per week
- Potential to float to other departments within scope and competency
- Use of Epic EMR system; experience required
- Perform assessments, develop care plans, and deliver independent and delegated nursing care to NICU patients
- May be placed on-call during scheduled shifts as needed
- Adhere to hospital and regulatory documentation standards
Requirements
- Active CO or compact RN license in hand
- Minimum of one year recent NICU RN experience required
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing with ASN required; BSN preferred
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
- NRP/ACLS/PALS certifications as appropriate for NICU preferred
- Epic charting experience required
