Software Engineer

Insight Global is currently hiring for a Java Developer at a top financial client in Des Moines, IA. As the team makes a larger transition to AWS cloud, this candidate needs to have prior hands-on experience with AWS to be able to step in and assist. The ideal candidate is open to learning new things, taking initiative and working together with other team members. They will be joining the Retirement and Income Solutions (RIS) Technology team, working on both legacy and new applications. In this role, youll be part of a team that develops, improves and supports customer focused systems. Able to work with guidance on software development/solutions. With guidance, develop productivity skills by learning source control, editors, the build system, and other tools as well as automated testing best practices. Participate in code/design reviews and learning technical design. This candidate will be paid based off of years of experience between the range or $42-$55/hr.
