Job Summary

The Behavioral Health Home Hospital (BHH) Research Psychiatry Nurse (RN) will support an innovative care delivery model, Behavioral Health Home Hospital. The program offers a subset of patients an alternative to standard inpatient psychiatric hospital admission, in which patients can receive highly specialized psychiatric?care services in their home. The BHH Research Psychiatry RN will provide quality, clinical services to patients in various settings in the community. Patient care is delivered within organizational philosophy, policy and standards of nursing and community health practice. The responsibilities are performed in accordance with Brigham and Womens Faulkner Hospitals policies and standards of practice, utilizing thorough and timely electronic documentation and interdisciplinary communications. The BHH Research Psych RN is responsible for delivering patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosing, teaching, planning, implementation, and evaluation of BHH patients.
