Our company is part of the community and driven to improve our future and protect our freedom. This specific role is to join our Digital Architecture Team as a Principal Software Engineer. Typical responsibilities for this role include:
* Architecting, designing, analyzing, developing, and maintaining (typically in C#, Python, and/or Test Stand) test instrument driver abstraction software, common test utility software, and data collection microservices
* Determine user needs and analyze system capabilities to resolve problems.
* Be able to mentor junior engineers through regular design and code reviews, and provide guidance on best practices, coding standards, and software development principles.
* Testing and integrating common software on RF and digital test equipment Hybrid:
Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform work onsite, some efforts may be (mostly) full time on-site. Work that can be done remotely will allow for a hybrid working environment. Required Education, Experience, & Skills * Strong understanding of .NET, .NET Framework and experience programming in C#
* Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming
* Strong Technical Communication
* Bachelor's Degree and 6+ years' work experience (min) or equivalent experience * Possess good interpersonal and team communication skills
* Takes initiative with general guidance and has a closure-oriented nature Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills * Programming Languages: C#, Python, NI TestStand
* Experience with Automated Test and Measurement Software Development
* Experience in factory production test stands, problem isolation and resolution. Debug skills.
* Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment
* Unit Under Test (UUT) emulation and simulation
* Unit Test Driven Software Design
* Demonstrate adaptability and flexibility in a dynamic manufacturing environment, with the ability to pivot quickly to address unexpected factory support issues, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously, even in high-pressure situations.

Full-Time Salary Range: $115779 - $196825 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
