Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an outpatient setting with a required CA PT license and outpatient experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in both acute care and outpatient therapy settings
• Day shift schedule: 5x8 hour shifts, 10:00 to 18:30
• Weekend coverage required one weekend per month, to be discussed during interview
• Epic EMR experience is preferred
• Return staff or travelers must have a 1-year separation from previous employment to be eligible
• Only one holiday time-off request will be approved during the assignment
• Locals are accepted, but will be paid at the local rate
• Modules and e-learning are completed during orientation
• Epic EMR experience is preferred for consideration

Requirements

• Active CA PT license required; will consider candidates with CA license pending
• Outpatient experience required, including through clinical rotation or work experience
• New graduates are welcome to apply
• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of contract signing if applicable
• All certifications must be current and issued by AHA or the American Red Cross
• 2 years of experience preferred unless otherwise noted in the job description
• Must meet facility 50-mile radius requirement for travel candidates
