FORKLIFT OPERATOR - DAY SHIFT | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:

Location: Durham NC 27703 – 100% on-site
Payrate: $18.20/hr
Required Availability: Full-Time | Monday – Friday, 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM

FORKLIFT OPERATOR | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:

The Forklift Operator will be responsible for safely moving materials, parts, and finished goods throughout the warehouse using forklifts and other equipment. The Forklift Operator will support daily operations in a fast-paced environment.

This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

FORKLIFT OPERATOR | RESPONSIBILITIES:

Operate forklifts, conveyors, handcarts, cranes, and other warehouse equipment to move products and materials.
Maintain accurate records of materials handled and production activities.
Follow safety guidelines and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality standards.
Support warehouse operations including material handling, logistics, and basic production tasks.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.

FORKLIFT OPERATOR - DAY SHIFT | REQUIREMENTS:

Education: High School Diploma or GED (Verifiable)
Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
1+ year of forklift experience.
Ability to obtain and maintain applicable licenses/certifications as needed (e.g., forklift certification).
Basic computer and math skills; ability to read, write, and follow documentation in English.
Must be able to lift/move over 50 lbs and work in varied conditions (heat in summer, cold in winter, moderate to loud noise).
Comfortable with frequent standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, lifting, and repetitive motion tasks.
