Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for an acute care, Level II trauma setting with ARRT (CT), BLS, and at least 1 year of experience required.
Responsibilities
- Work in an acute care hospital with a Level II trauma designation
- CT Tech role in the Radiology/Cardiology department
- Handles adult patient population with a daily caseload of 80-90 scans per tech in a 24-hour period
- Uses Cerner and McKesson charting systems
- Night shifts: Saturday and Sunday 19:00-07:30, Thursday and Friday 12:00-00:30
- No floating required within the facility or to sister facilities
- No on-call required
- Weekend work is required
- Work in a team environment in a busy trauma-level hospital
- Navy blue scrubs required
- Modules must be completed during orientation and annually
- Strict no-tobacco policy with nicotine drug screening required
- Free parking available in the patient visitor garage with badge access
- Candidates must be gone for at least 1 year if previously employed
- Only one RTO request allowed
Requirements
- Current ARRT (CT) certification
- Maryland license required if applicable
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of CT experience
- First-time travelers are accepted
- Pending state license accepted
