Critical Care Registered Nurse

Location: Phoenix, AZ Start Date: January 5, 2026 Contract Length: 13 Weeks Shift: Any | 3x12s

Job Description: The Critical Care Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a variety of critical care settings. This includes monitoring and assessment, ventilator management, medication administration, IV insertion and infusion, central line care, and maintaining accurate documentation of patient status. The nurse must be prepared to perform CPR and other lifesaving interventions at any time.

Essential Duties

• Apply the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Identify and respond to physiological and psychosocial changes
• Communicate care plans and outcomes with the healthcare team
• Support discharge planning and patient/family education
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment
• Adhere to all facility policies and protocols

Minimum Requirements

• Active RN license (state-specific)
• Minimum 1 year acute or critical care experience preferred
• BLS & ACLS/PALS (per facility requirement)
• Completion of competency program (if applicable)
• TB screening and current health certificate (as required)
• Understanding of HIPAA and patient confidentiality
• Strong communication and computer proficiency
• Must be at least 18 years of age
