Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist with Georgia licensure and BLS certification for a day shift rehab position treating diverse neurological and orthopedic patients.
Responsibilities
- Work in a rehabilitation department within a large acute care hospital
- Day shift position, Monday through Friday, 7am-4pm
- Patient caseload averages 6-9 patients per day per therapist
- Typical patient diagnoses include orthopedic, debility, spinal cord, neurological disorders, multi-trauma, fractures, post-op, and cardiac conditions
- No weekend, on-call, or major holiday requirements
- No floating to other units required
- Utilizes Epic EMR system
- Join a large, supportive rehab department working alongside over 40 teammates with lead therapists on site
- Comprehensive orientation includes 3-5 days of departmental training depending on experience
- Scrub color requirement is light grey
- Free parking available
- First-time travelers will be considered
Requirements
- Active Occupational Therapy license in Georgia required, if applicable
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience preferred
- Experience working independently with diverse rehab diagnoses
- Epic EMR experience preferred but not required
