This role typically requires licensure, a bachelor's or master's in Occupational Therapy, BLS certification, and preferably NICU or infant feeding experience.

Occupational Therapist I, NICU
Location: UCHealth Childs Therapy Services, US:CO: Fort Collins
Department: PVH Childs Therapy
FTE: PRN, 0.0, 0.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)
Shift: Days
Pay: $38.72 - $58.08 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience
Minimum Requirements:
Minimum Required Education: Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy. Preferred: Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
Required Licensure/Certification: Current licensure with Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies to practice Occupational Therapy. Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider.
BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.
Minimum Experience: None required. Preferred: NICU experience. Infant feeding experience.

Occupational Therapist:

  • Facilitate Participation in Meaningful Activities by focusing on helping patients achieve independence and satisfaction, often through creative problem-solving and teaching new ways to perform tasks.
  • Provide education and training to patients, their families, and caregivers on their condition, treatment strategies, safety precautions, the the us of adaptive equipment.
