Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with PET/CT or MIC CT Cross-trainer certification and ARRT or CNMT credentials.

Responsibilities

• Work in a nuclear medicine department performing PET/CT imaging
• Day shifts working 4x10 hour days from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Thursday
• One Saturday PET shift required every 4 weeks (approximately 8 hours)
• 13-week contract assignment
• Floating within scope may be required per facility policy
• Uses Epic EMR and Epic experience is required
• If MIC CT Cross-trainer Certification is needed, candidate must complete cross-training within one week after hire
• Holiday coverage not required for major holidays; half day required on Christmas Eve and full day on New Year's Eve
• Up to 40 hours of RTO may be requested for the 13-week contract and must be communicated during submission
• Candidates who previously worked at this facility must have a one-year break in service to be eligible for return
• Candidates may not exceed 365 days of assignment at this facility regardless of separation between contracts
• Scrub requirements not specified; please inquire if needed

Requirements

• PET/CT certified or MIC CT Cross-trainer Certification required
• ARRT or CNMT certification required
• BLS required
• Epic charting experience required
• Copy of certification(s) required for consideration
• Two professional references required
• License required if applicable; pending state license accepted if in-hand by Wednesday prior to start date
