Position Summary:
The Travel Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) will work under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients improve mobility, strength, and overall quality of life. This position focuses on providing high-quality rehabilitative care and ensuring patients reach their maximum potential in a professional, outpatient clinical setting.
Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Physical Therapist in implementing individualized treatment plans for patients.
• Provide direct therapy services focused on improving mobility, strength, endurance, and coordination.
• Instruct and motivate patients during exercises, functional activities, and mobility training.
• Observe patients during treatment, noting changes in condition or response to therapy.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient documentation and progress reports.
• Collaborate with the therapy team to ensure continuity and quality of care.
• Educate patients and their families on exercises and techniques to continue recovery at home.
• Adhere to all facility and departmental policies and procedures to maintain compliance and safety.

• Associate Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program.
• Active Georgia PTA license (or eligibility to obtain).
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• Outpatient experience preferred.
• New grads and first-time travelers are welcome to apply!
