Key Job Details – CT / Rad Tech Travel Position

• Location: Chesapeake, VA 23320 (Coastal Virginia healthcare jobs)
• Facility Setting: Cardiac Catheterization Lab
• Employment Type: Locum Tenens / Travel Allied Health
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (with possible extension)
• Start Date: October 6, 2025
• End Date: January 5, 2026 (option to extend to January 10)
• Schedule: 5x8-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM), 40 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2420 - $2600
• Call: Rotating weekday and weekend call (approx. 12 days/month)
• Holiday Coverage: Required

Qualifications – Cardiac Cath Lab CT / Rad Tech

• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab
• Graduate of an accredited cardiovascular technology or radiologic technology program
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association preferred)
• Active RCIS, RCVT, or RCES certification (ARRT not accepted)
• Valid Virginia or compact state license at time of application
• Clean background and license history (no prior license or background hits)
• Ability to pass fit testing (no PAPR accommodation)
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Completion of pre-start modules (3 hours, billable)

Responsibilities – CT / Radiologic Technologist (Cardiac Cath Lab)

• Assist with minimally invasive cardiac procedures, including full-service electrophysiology
• Operate CT and radiology equipment in the Cardiac Cath Lab
• Participate in rotating call schedule, including weekends and holidays
• Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver high-quality patient care
• Adhere to all facility compliance, safety, and infection control protocols
