Contract Length:

13 weeks

Shift:

12-hour days (07:00-19:00), every other weekend required

On-site available

Registered Nurse Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Alabama or Compact State (no temporary licenses)

Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry, acute care, or related specialty (18 months preferred)

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required

Experience working under full professional RN licensure

Willingness to float to other units and hospitals as needed

Registered Nurse Responsibilities
Deliver expert nursing care to trauma, surgical, orthopedic, and urology patients in an acute care setting

Maintain a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio to ensure high-quality, individualized care

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including family practice physicians, hospitalists, and surgical specialists

Float to other units and hospitals within the healthcare system as required

Work every other weekend and scheduled holidays

Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR

Uphold the highest standards of nursing professionalism and patient safety
