Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist with ARDMS-RVT and BLS certification for a 13-week contract.

Responsibilities

• Work in an inpatient imaging department specializing in ultrasound procedures
• Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
• 13-week assignment with 8-hour day shifts
• No on-call required
• Patients primarily include adult and geriatric populations
• Must be willing to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (either the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
• Returning staff who were previously employed as perm must have a 2-year break before returning as a traveler
• RTO must be requested during application; no post-offer time off requests will be accepted
• Applicants must provide complete and accurate credentialing prior to start, including badge photo upon offer
• EMR system experience should be listed with work history as required

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
• Current active ARDMS-RVT certification
• Current BLS certification required
• License required if applicable
• Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility
• Must meet holiday coverage requirements as outlined
