Position Description

Mixed (Weekends only) 
On call: As needed

Call Back: 2hr min; time and a half

Job Summary and Qualifications:

• The MRI Technologist performs technical procedures, applying magnetic resonance imaging and ionizing radiation (Radiographer) for the purpose of detecting pathology.
• Regulates equipment used to produce the magnetic image and expose the x-ray image as well as process and organize the image in PACS.

Education Requirements:

• ·         Associate Degree or equivalent in Radiological Technology required
• ·         Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and MRI concepts to include head, neck, body, MSK, spine and MRI imaging

Experience Requirements:

• ·         1yr min MRI exp required; 3 yrs MRI exp preferred

Certification/Licensure Requirements:

• ·         FL State Registered Radiologic Technician License
• ·         ARRT (R) & (MR) Required *CANDIDATES MUST HAVE THIS
• ·         Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS.
