Warehouse Associate

Join our team as a Warehouse Associate, where you will play a crucial role in the shipping and receiving of inventory. You will ensure that incoming and outgoing items are processed efficiently and accurately, contributing to the smooth operation of our warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Perform shipping and receiving of incoming and outgoing inventory.
• Receive new items, unpackage them to check for defects, repackage them, and place them into inventory.
• Utilize both a scan gun and manual system for inventory tracking.
• Enter inventory data into the computer, accounting for 10-15% of the job responsibilities.
• Assist with moving items around the facility, such as carrying boxes to bench technicians and other areas of the warehouse.

Essential Skills

• Experience with shipping and receiving.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Inventory management experience.
• Ability to perform visual inspections and counting.
• Teamwork skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with packaging and unpackaging boxes.
• Some computer experience, preferably with Access; Excel is also acceptable.
• Familiarity with common freight (e.g., Conway) is beneficial but not required.

Work Environment

Work in a small warehouse setting alongside 15 other team members. The environment is collaborative, with a full-time warehouse manager overseeing operations. The role requires working with both manual and computerized inventory systems.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of White Plains, New York.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
