Your Role as a CDL-A Delivery Driver:
Conduct thorough inspections of your tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and file the required DOT inspection report.
Verify the accuracy of the bill of lading and secure keys during off-hour deliveries.
Safely operate the tractor-trailer to deliver goods using your knowledge of commercial driving regulations.
Maintain an accurate driver log (Manual or Peoplenet) following DOT regulations, recording delivery receipts and product conditions.
Unload products, ensuring accurate delivery to customer locations.
Complete other responsibilities as assigned.
Your Qualifications:
Must be at least 21 years old.
Possess a valid Class A commercial driver’s license (CDL-A).
Have a minimum of 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience.
Meet McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications.
Ability to read, write, and comprehend English effectively for essential job duties.
