Inventory Control Specialist

Material Handler

Operate a stand-up forklift on an hourly basis within a three-story warehouse. Your primary role will involve moving heavy train products, picking orders, conducting safety checks, and utilizing an RF Scan gun to track products. This position is essential in maintaining efficient warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate a stand-up forklift for the majority of the workday.
• Move heavy train products within a three-story warehouse.
• Pick and prepare orders accurately and efficiently.
• Perform safety checks on equipment and products.
• Utilize an RF Scan gun to keep track of each product.

Essential Skills

• Two years of experience operating a stand-up reach forklift.
• Experience with warehouse inventory and packing.
• Consistent work history of at least two years.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with warehouse operations and safety procedures.
• Familiarity with RF Scan guns and order picking processes.

Work Environment

Work a first shift schedule from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm in a climate-controlled warehouse. Enjoy working predominantly independently, with collaboration required during packaging and order preparation. The environment is equipped with new equipment, ensuring both safety and efficiency.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oak Creek, Wisconsin.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00/hr.
