Bartender

Bartender Position

The Bartender is responsible for creating an exceptional guest experience through knowledgeable, attentive, and engaging service. This role prepares and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, maintains cleanliness and organization of the bar area, and upholds all brand, company, and state beverage standards. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and passionate about hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, take drink and food orders, and deliver service with professionalism and efficiency.
• Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar at all times.
• Check identification and ensure responsible alcohol service in compliance with state and company policies.
• Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately; balance the register at the end of each shift.
• Support beverage inventory, restocking, and ordering as needed.
• Collaborate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to provide a seamless guest experience.
• Maintain knowledge of current drink trends, seasonal menus, and daily specials.
• Adhere to all safety, sanitation, and responsible service protocols.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 12 years of bartending experience in a hotel, restaurant, or upscale bar environment required.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; TABC certification (or ability to obtain) required.
• Skills:
• Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, wine, beer, and bar techniques.
• Excellent guest service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and stay composed in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.

Compensation Range

The compensation for this position is $10.25/Hr. - $10.25/Hr. based on qualifications and experience.
