Administrative Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated Administrative Assistant with a passion for excellence in document creation and management. This role involves working closely with Subject Matter Experts to gather information, analyze it, and produce high-quality documentation. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that all current documentation standards are adhered to and continuously improved.

Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with Subject Matter Experts to gather necessary information.
  • Analyze information to produce high-quality documentation.
  • Ensure adherence to current documentation standards.
  • Collaborate with other writers to enhance documentation standards.
  • Gather and incorporate customer feedback to improve content and usability.
  • Edit documentation to maintain consistency and accuracy.
  • Adjust responsibilities, time, and objectives to meet changing priorities.
  • Promote a safe culture for yourself and those around you.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in technical writing.
  • Administrative support experience.
  • Data entry skills.
  • Document control expertise.
  • Experience with SharePoint.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail in planning, writing, proofing, and approval processes.
  • Ability to work in a production environment and meet deadlines.
  • Strong sense of ownership and follow-through.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to utilize resources to find answers.
  • Desire to improve current processes.
  • Experience writing procedural documents.
  • Proficiency with MS Office.

Work Environment

The work environment is an office located within an industrial manufacturing plant. Standard day shift hours apply. Employees are treated as core members of the team, with benefits such as paid holidays, accrued vacation hours, and sick time.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Albany, Oregon.

Pay and Benefits

  • The pay range for this position is $27.50 - $27.50/hr.
  • Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
  • Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
