Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for an evening shift assignment, requiring ARRT(MR) certification and 2 years of acute care experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in an acute care hospital imaging department
• Evening shifts from 3 PM to 11 PM, Monday through Friday
• 13-week contract assignment
• Patient population includes those requiring magnetic resonance imaging
• Provide clinical MRI services in accordance with department standards and patient safety protocols
• Serve as a resource to MRI students and other technologists
• Maintain equipment, exam rooms, and work areas in a neat and safe condition
• Demonstrate magnetic safety for patients, staff, and self as outlined in department protocols
• Complete ancillary tasks to ensure efficient departmental operations
• Compliance with CPI requirements is mandated by the position

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years acute care MRI experience in a U.S. hospital setting
• Current ARRT(MR) certification required
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• High school diploma and diploma from a certified school of radiology required
• Bachelor's or master's degree in healthcare preferred
• Experience as an MRI Lead preferred
• Active license required if applicable
• Must live at least 25 miles from the facility
• Two manager or supervisor references verifying recent experience are preferred
• US Social Security Number is required for consideration
