Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 2 years of PT experience, a completed travel contract, and BLS certification for a home health setting.
Responsibilities
- Position is for 32 hours per week
- Home health setting with patients of all age groups
- Uses Epic EMR and experience is preferred
- Work schedule requires holiday coverage for 2 out of 3 major winter holidays (Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving)
- Primary responsibilities include providing physical therapy care across the lifespan in a home health environment
- Epic EMR is used for documentation
- Time off requests are limited to 1 day between 11/26 and 11/30 and between 12/23 and 1/2
- Travelers are required to work 2 of the 3 major winter holidays
- First-time travelers are not eligible for this role
Requirements
- Current BLS certification required
- Active Iowa PT license or compact license required if applicable
- Minimum of 2 years recent PT experience required
- At least 1 completed travel contract required
- Experience in home health and with all age groups is preferred
- Supervisory reference from within the last 2 years required
