Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate RN to join our Med/Surg and Telemetry unit in Clyde, NC. As a Med/Surg – Tele RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in need of various services, including orthopedic, cardiology, general surgery, and more. Position Highlights

• Nurse/Patient Ratio: Typically 4-6:1
• Facility Type: Community hospital with a full spectrum of services
• Accreditations: Chest Pain Center, Joint Commission Accredited
• Patient Population: A variety of medical and surgical patients, including those requiring telemetry monitoring

Job Requirements

Education/Skills

• Strong Med/Surg and Telemetry nursing skills, with the ability to manage complex patient needs in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative healthcare team

Experience

• 1+ year of recent Med/Surg or Telemetry nursing experience (preferred)
• Experience in orthopedic, cardiology, or general surgery nursing is a plus

Licenses, Registrations, Certifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support) required (AHA only)
• RN License in the state of NC or compact state
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) may be required, depending on unit needs

Position Details

• New hires will be oriented to the unit and work under the mentorship of experienced nursing staff
• Orientation and training provided based on experience level
