Job Title: Medical Assistant

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for rooming patients and accurately documenting all vital information, assisting the dermatologist by scribing information, drawing blood, cleaning and stocking exam rooms, and scheduling patient appointments.

Responsibilities

Room patients and document all vital signs and information.

Assist the dermatologist by scribing necessary information during consultations.

Draw blood and handle samples according to medical protocols.

Clean and stock exam rooms to maintain a sterile and efficient environment.

Schedule and manage patient appointments effectively.

Essential Skills

Proficient in medical assisting and patient care.

Certified Medical Assistant or Registered Medical Assistant preferred.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

1-2 years of recent experience in a medical office in a similar capacity is preferred.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Industry experience and MA Diploma are advantageous.

Work Environment

The position requires working 38 hours per week, specifically on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm. The role involves working in a medical office environment, which requires maintaining high standards of cleanliness and professionalism.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of O'Fallon, Missouri.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
