Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a high-risk Labor & Delivery position in a Level 3 NICU setting requiring circulating experience and an active NH or compact RN license.
Responsibilities
- Work in a high-risk labor and delivery unit with approximately 2,100 deliveries per year
- Unit is not LDRP and includes a Level 3 NICU onsite
- Shift schedule consists of 3x12 hour night shifts (7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.), 36 hours per week
- Every other weekend is required
- No call requirement
- Floating to Maternity/Mother-Baby may be required
- Epic EMR is used and prior experience is required
- Must be able to circulate for c-sections and manage high-risk deliveries
- Team includes private practice OBs, family medicine, and midwife coverage with no hospital-owned providers
- Unit orientation consists of one day of HealthStream assignments and two days in-unit orientation
- Scrubs of any color permitted
- Former employees of Solution Health facilities are not eligible for consideration
- Local candidates within 50 miles are accepted at a reduced rate
- No more than 5 requested days off (RTO) allowed per 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active NH or compact RN license required
- Minimum of 2 years recent Labor & Delivery experience required
- Must have prior circulating experience in L&D
- Previous charge nurse experience required
- Epic charting experience required
- Current certifications from AHA or Red Cross are required (BLS, others as specified by assignment)
- EKG test required on arrival
