Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Labor & Delivery nursing
• EFM National Certification Corporation or Intermediate AWHONN certification within the past 3 years (proof of class registration accepted at application; certification required for compliance)
• Proficiency with Epic EMR
• Ability to work night shifts in a fast-paced clinical environment

Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, evidence-based care to patients in the Labor & Delivery unit
• Monitor maternal and fetal health throughout the labor and delivery process
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals
• Accurately document patient care using Epic EMR
• Support patients and families during childbirth, providing education and reassurance
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety protocols, and clinical standards
