Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist with at least 2 years of multispecialty experience and strong home health background to join a home health team in Iowa.
Responsibilities
- Home health setting serving patients across all age groups
- Requires at least one completed travel contract
- Position uses Epic EMR; experience with Epic is recommended
- Same day interviews available for qualified candidates
- Travelers must be available to work 2 out of 3 major winter holidays: Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving
- Only one requested day off will be allowed between 11/26/25-11/30/25 and 12/23/25-1/2/26
- Orientation and onboarding requirements include review of active licensure and certifications
- Travelers with prior employment at the facility within the past 12 months may not be eligible
Requirements
- Active Iowa OT license required if applicable
- Minimum 2 years of OT experience across all age groups
- BLS certification required
- Prior home health experience strongly encouraged
- At least one completed travel contract is required
- References from a supervisor within the last 2 years required
