Night shift: 19:00 - 07:00, with 36 guaranteed hours per week and every other weekend requirement.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team in Clyde, NC. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in emergency care, with the ability to efficiently manage patient care in a fast-paced environment. Our facility supports a diverse patient population, primarily geriatric and adult, with some pediatric cases.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in the Emergency Department.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, recognizing changes in status and responding appropriately.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Utilize electronic health records to manage patient information effectively.
• Participate in self-scheduling through the designated app.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2-3 years of experience in Emergency Department nursing required.
• ACLS, PALS, BLS, and NIH Stroke certifications are required.
• Must be able to handle patients of varying acuity levels.
• Must possess a current nursing license.
