Medical Assistant

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our team. The role involves rooming patients and documenting all vital information, scribing information for the dermatologist, cleaning and stocking the exam rooms, and scheduling patient appointments.

Responsibilities

Room patients and document all vital information accurately.

Scribe detailed information for the dermatologist.

Maintain cleanliness and stock exam rooms efficiently.

Schedule patient appointments and manage calendars.

Proficiency in medical assisting and patient care.

Strong understanding of medical terminology.

Experience with EMR systems, specifically NextGen and EMA.

Ability to scribe accurately and efficiently.

Qualifications

Medical Assistant certificate is preferred, in lieu of one will take an Associate's or Bachelor's in Biology.

1-2 years of recent experience in a similar role within a medical office.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $24.00/hr.
