Slate Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Asheville, North Carolina.

Registered Nurse - PCU -
Unit Information:
Number of Beds: 20
Type of staff: Day Shift 1 charge, 4 RN, 2 CNA. Night Shift- 1 charge, 4 RN, 2 CNA
Patient Ratios: 1:5/ 1:6 stretch dependent on level of care. Inpatient overflow unit w/mixed level of care- medical surgical and/or step-down patients bedded on this unit. Short stay (24 hr LOS) patients target to this unit. Quick turnover
Type of equipment: telemetry; if telemetry monitoring indicated, all patients hardwired to bedside monitor.
EMR - Cerner
Requirements:
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS: BLS and ACLS
Must have: Telemetry competency
Progressive Care experience
Preferred or nice to have: Recent progressive care experience
Best personality Fit: Positive attitude, pt. experience focused, kind, compassionate, team player/works well with others.
Floating Area(s): Travelers will be required to float to other units if needed.
Dress Code: Navy and or/ white top, navy bottom, all white
Weekends and on call (if any): Every other weekend required, no call required.
