Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist (X-Ray Tech) with 2+ years of experience, ARRT certification, and active Michigan licensure for a 17-week hospital assignment.

Responsibilities

• Work in a diagnostic radiology department within a hospital setting
• Provides general diagnostic radiology and computerized tomographic procedures
• Uses GE and OEC C-arms, as well as Carestream portable equipment
• Evening shifts from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, five days a week, including every other weekend
• Block scheduling is not available; must be flexible with scheduling
• No on-call required
• May float to a nearby sister hospital as needed
• COVID vaccination is mandatory
• Online onboarding modules must be completed and passed prior to start
• Assignment length is 17 weeks
• Allow at least 2 weeks for background check and drug screen completion
• Must be able to report for drug screening within 24 hours of commitment
• Time off requests must be discussed before assignment begins
• Travelers may be asked to float between hospital locations

Requirements

• Active Michigan Radiology license required if applicable
• ARRT certification (Registered Radiologic Technologist) required
• AHA BLS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years radiology technologist experience in a hospital environment
• High school diploma or GED required
• Must complete required hours of continuing education
