Essential Job Functions

· Develop warehouse operation's systems by determining product handling and storage requirements, and creates processes for receiving product, equipment utilization, inventory management, and shipping.

· Create warehouse design by planning layout, product flow, and product handling systems; evaluating and recommending new equipment.

· Comply with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.

· Safeguard warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.

· Maintain physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.

· Works to consistently meet and exceed customer requirements

· Continuously strives for operational excellence and continuous improvement

· Maintains stock of inventory, company equipment and vehicles including shipping and receiving.

· Maintains and organizes shop/warehouse and ensures MSDS compliance with all chemicals stored in shop/warehouse (keep records of chemicals that need pickup for waste disposal).

· Required to log and track large tools and equipment to and from job site and log any repairs made to the equipment.

· Responsible for refrigerant cylinder recovery and maintenance.

· Operates forklift as necessary.

· Continually enforces safety to the highest standards and maintains security and accountability of company issued and procured assets by recording use, wear and conditions.

· Displays team effort and dedication to customers by maintaining flexibility to work overtime and weeks as the business requires.

· Deliver parts and tools to service job sites.

· Under the direction from HVAC Service Solution Leader, assist in minor maintenance of tools and shop equipment.

· May be required to use a variety of small hand tools to repair warehouse equipment or vehicles.

Education, Experience & Skills

A High School Diploma or equivalent experience is required.

4+ years of experience in warehouse, HVAC, or equivalent combination of education (Technical School) and experience is preferred.

Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of internal company and external associates, both written and orally, including the telephone.

Operating knowledge of Microsoft office software and working proficiency with handheld computer (i.e. Smartphone, iPad).

Valid Driver's License with no major traffic violations, suspensions, or DUI's in previous 5 years. Driver Qualification (DQ) is required.

Physical Requirements

This position requires working in diverse conditions including but not limited to mechanical equipment rooms with exposure to noisy operating equipment, exposure to extreme weather conditions, precarious places, and risk of electrical shock (high voltage).

This position is highly physical and requires regular use of hands, fingers, walking, stooping, and kneeling. It requires employees to regularly lift and or move up to 10 lbs, frequently lift and or move up to 50 lbs and occasionally lift and or move more than 50 lbs.

This role has been designated by the Company as Safety Sensitive.

Base salary for this position starts at $65,000 (and up dependent on experience)
