We are seeking a dedicated janitorial worker to ensure all buildings are cleaned efficiently. The role involves utilizing a floor scrubber, sweeping and mopping floors, using necessary chemicals for specific tasks, scrubbing and washing bathroom areas, and identifying maintenance issues. The successful candidate will report to a supervisor when supplies need replenishing and will wear appropriate PPE at all times.

Responsibilities

• Clean all buildings in a timely manner.
• Utilize a floor scrubber for cleaning all buildings.
• Sweep and mop floors diligently.
• Use chemicals as needed for specific tasks and areas.
• Scrub and wash bathroom areas thoroughly.
• Report to supervisor when supplies need replenishing.
• Identify and handle maintenance issues, such as lighting or faucets.
• Wear appropriate PPE at all times for safety.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in janitorial tasks including mopping and sweeping.
• Previous cleaning experience with the ability to perform duties with minimal training.
• Ability to work independently on feet throughout the shift.
• Attentiveness to detail and ability to work independently.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Cleaner/Janitor preferred.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs as needed throughout the shift.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Canton, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

• The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $17.50/hr.
