Substitute/Limited Term - Custodian - Day/Evening Shift

San Diego County Office of Education is hiring for a substitute and/or limited-term position in the substitute custodian pool for day and evening shifts. The custodian maintains assigned buildings and adjacent grounds areas in a clean, orderly, and safe condition.

Salary: $23.97 Hourly

Location: San Diego, CA

Job Type: On Call

Closing Date: Continuous

Work hours/locations vary by assignment. Minimum qualifications include six (6) months of experience performing general custodial work OR completion of formal custodial training. A valid California Class C driver's license is required as travel from SDCOE to various locations throughout the county may be required in order to perform assigned tasks.

It is important to note to become a substitute/limited-term employee, there will be a fingerprinting requirement that currently costs $77 (this is an up-front, out-of-pocket cost that must be paid in the form of a money order or cashier's check). In addition, if you apply and are selected for a permanent position at any point there would be an additional $77 cost (currently) for fingerprinting as a permanent employee (taken out of your first regular paycheck).
